When you step in this corner you have become part of our family, the hospitality that has made us one of the best cafes in the Catskills.

Here at Griffin's Corners Cafe, we forge and sustain friendship. Formerly known as Gayle's Luncheonette for the last two decades, a number of diverse businesses have occupied this building. Better known as Gayle's Luncheonette, then Boomagoo's, and later the Monster Grill. Finally, on September 1, 2003, the Cafe changed hands and became Griffin's Corner's Cafe. This cornerstone of the village of Fleischmann's continues to thrive.

The village of Fleischmanns is very quaint, but inspiration is scarce. This corner where the cafe is located, had been called Griffin's, before the Village was even named Fleischmanns, so the owner adopted the name "Griffin's Corners Cafe" as a gesture of humility and a call to the old glory principles that make this landscape what it is today. Griffin's Corners Cafe would like to be the genuine cornerstone of the village of Fleischmanns, and the enthusiasm of the Chef/Owner, Will, has something to do with it.

Now attempting to strengthen that tradition, we have added computers with Internet connections, pool tables, video games, a piano, and live entertainment on most weekend. An impressive Beer and Wine selection and bar has also been added for your pleasure. Fun is a big part of our emphasis at Griffin's Corners Cafe, and our friends tell us that many of them have frequented the cafe over the years, and all have stories to tell of their visits.

Griffin's Corners Cafe is now transformed to be fun, casual and relaxing without pretense. Cosmetic renovation is well under way for the outside of the premises. The relaxed atmosphere surrounded by a friendly staff makes it possible to enjoy memorable celebrations , reunions, live jazz shows, karaoke, open Mic, Art & talent shows , poetry recitals, birthday parties, retirement celebrations, and other special occasions. .
