Brad’s original compositions are soulful and passionate songs that recall a time when poetic lyrics were giving the same attention as the melody itself. These songs should be appreciated individually and not just a continuation of a style or genre. Please support and enjoy his first CD release, “In The Park”.

Brad has played with many of the fine musicians who have graced The Midnight Ramble Sessions at Levon Helm Studios. There are just too many to mention them all here. The Midnight Ramble Sessions players’ credentials speak for themselves. In addition, he plays and continues to support most of the open mic events throughout the Hudson Valley and has been a long time resident of the Hudson Valley since 1972.

With lots of close harmonies, interwoven acoustic guitars, piano and mandolin, this singer-songwriter duo consists of Myra Dirnfeld and Elisa Geliebter.

Split the Bill performs a blend of intriguing and rhythmic originals and covers including The Beatles, The Indigo Girls, Radiohead, Jackson Browne, The Eagles and Emmylou Harris.

Their songs and arrangements have been called "compelling. . . and haunting". The Kingston Freeman wrote that Split the Bill makes music in "a comfortable living room way that's been lost in recent years. Split the Bill does a fine job of bringing real music back, as it should be".

Saturday Jamuary 19, 7 - 10pm - Denise Jordan Finley featuring Matt Pagdon
Finley's songs, multiple winners of awards in international competitions, are performed in the contemporary folk style, drawing their color from jazz, traditional folk, blues and rock. Her years of experience anchoring Bluegrass Bands is evident in her powerful bass lines and perfectly metered rhythms. Her songs have been covered by jazz, folk, and bluegrass performers as well as by theater groups. Often microscopic in nature, the songs focus on everyday people and the familiar events of life, while bringing forth the poignant and often dramatic details as are felt deep in the spirit and heart. The recently released CD, HAUNTRESS is decidedly metaphysical in tone.

In four decades of writing and performing, her road has been rosy and rocky...After the loss of her voice for a year, she is back in full form... Her vocals, now with a well earned edge, show expression that can only come from a full life's experiences .Perhaps due to a period of compensation for the injury, her guitar work emerges as uncommonly intricate and harmonically powerful.

In performance, Finley is most often accompanied by Contra Bass Guitarist, Daniel Pagdon, who discovered his instrument at the age of 11, and hasn't put it down since! Both are self-taught in their craft. Between them they have nearly 75 years of experience and have covered coast to coast United States, Europe, and the high seas.
